Jumbo Portable Elevated Planter Box. Perfect for vegetable gardening. Perfect for your very own organic suburban farm. It is designed for deep root vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, radish, ginger, etc.

Learn to grow your own organic vegetables, with no need to bend over to tend to your vegetable garden. Easy to move as it comes with wheels.

The dimensions are:
6′ (width) x 2′ (length) x 1′4″ (depth)
total planter height: 2’10″ (height) or 34″

Living Green Planters - Portable Elevated Planter

During the heavy rains that we received this past Winter / Spring, I decided to show with these pictures how well the planters are able to handle drainage. I designed them so that they will not hold the water and become muddy. Look at the photos and you will see that no flooding is happening. When the water hits the soil the drainage starts to happen, by the time the water gets down past the planter, the water goes through a natural filtration and pure water drops to the floor.

Another project that I wanted to work on was my herb garden. My plan was to build it on the empty wall of the external garage which is viewed from the kitchen window. When the wall is bare, it looks ugly. When the wall is growing my organic herbs, it looks amazing. I used the Living Wall Planter from Living Green Planters. The installation was easy. Little by little, I will make additions to my garden by using the Living Green Planters Products until my garden can grown enough vegetables for my family. Once you start growing your own vegetables, by using the Living Green Planters products, and realize the convenience of harvesting your own organic garden to feed your family, you will feel proud.

Like most of suburbia, there is always a side of the house that is never used. Yours may not have concrete and may look a little different than mine. It may be bigger or a little smaller, regardless of how it looks, it is the perfect location for your vegetable garden. I started with three Portable Elevated Planters. The location of the planters was not really an issue because they are portable and I can move them to different locations as my garden grows, so I placed mine in the center.

In the first I decided to grow four tomato plants. On the second planter, I put some varieties of bell peppers. On the third, I went all out and I planted broccoli, sugar snap pees, onions, and cabbage. These planters are big enough to house a variety of vegetables to your liking. In the near future, I will be adding two Living Wall Planters for herbs, and maybe a few Deep Elevated Portable Planters (Coming Soon!) for my Carrots, Potatoes, beets, yams, and other root vegetables.
